The miles on the clock were up for Kerry. Cork beat them by eight points in Munster and they struggled through the qualifiers. At the quarter-final we gathered to say our goodbyes to the team that gave us so much. The whistle went and it took just 36 seconds for those well-travelled legs of Tomás, Paul, Darragh, Mike and the Gooch to sting Dublin. Oh ye of little faith.
