I'm a Tipperary man and, being from the Premier County, I'm an avid hurling fan. This was my first ever Gaelic fooball match at the age of 18 and what a blistering contest it truly was. If my memory serves me right it was a bank holiday weekend when the giants of Gaelic football came to Thurles. My highlight from that game was Maurice Fitzgerald's sideline point.
