With Kildare enjoying a decent first half in the 1998 All-Ireland final, Galway wing-forward Michael Donnellan decided to take matters into his own hands. And feet. The wing-forward received the ball in his own defence, carried it the length of the field - via a one-two with Kevin Walsh - for Seán Óg De Paor to point. It was among RTÉ’s Top 20 GAA moments as Galway went on to win Sam.
