Appearing in their very first All-Ireland final, Donegal survived Charlie Redmond missing a penalty after just nine minutes. But it was Manus Boyle, playing his first full game of the campaign, who helped fire Donegal to an emotional victory. The Killybegs man kicked nine points in total including four from play and was named as a deserving man of the match.
