A series of games that captured the country’s imagination, this first round Leinster tie went to three replays before the most dramatic of finishes. Dublin lead by six points with 20 minutes to go before the unlikely figure of Kevin Foley was on the end of a free flowing 12-pass move to boot an equalising goal. David Beggy quickly pointed to breaks the Dubs’ heart and put the Royals through.
