Save the harvest.

Final postponed

After a summer where bad weather threatened crops, the Irish public were mobilised in an attempt to save the harvest. In an effort to help, the GAA postponed the All-Ireland final until October 6.  That game between Kerry and Roscommon finished in a draw and that replay wasn’t played until October 27, one of the latest in the year awarding of the Sam Maguire.
