For the 1891 champions, Kingdom club Kilmoyley disbanded and re-registered with Ballyduff so that eight of their players could represent Kerry in the All-Ireland. Defender P Quane gave the false name P County because he was from Kilmoyley. Cork did something similar next year so the GAA decided to not just limit All-Ireland representatives to the county champions.
