Callan and Kilkenny play out the first game of Gaelic football under the rules drafted by Maurice Davin. Among the rules were playing numbers should be no more than 21 a side, games were to be decided by goals alone, wrestling was allowed and both teams would stand in two ranks opposite each other for the throw in whilst holding hands. The game finishes scoreless while the rules have changed somewhat over the years.
