Sligo vs Roscommon

It will be the first time the two sides have met in the Championship since Roscommon defeated Sligo by a point in the 2010 Provincial Final. Despite being in the smallest Provincial Championship, it’s not a common tie. They have only squared off seven times in the past 25 years and two of those games were replays. Sligo have waited a long time for redemption, it was 2010 when they lost the Connaght final in Castlebar, 2010. Here is what our ambassadors think:

Monaghan vs Fermanagh

Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath says "There are no secrets between Fermanagh and Monaghan" as they prepare to do battle on Sunday. We wonder does Monaghan feel the same or do they have any tricks up their sleeve to shock the Fermanagh team & manager. Our ambassadors & the fans seem to think they do:

London vs Cavan

Ruislip is the venue as London welcome Cavan in what is a repeat pairing from the 2013 qualifiers. The Breffni County prevailed at Croke Park two years ago by nine points, but the scoreline of 1-17 to 1-08 did flatter the victors.

Waterford vs Offaly

Two sides who badly need a pick up after falling at the first hurdle. Waterford got a good trimming at the hands of Tipperary while Offaly let what they thought was a winning advantage slip against Longford. This is the first of the match this week where our ambassadors opinions begin to differ with Tomas backing Waterford for the win.

Its been almost a month since Longford were beaten by Dublin. Carlow were beaten well by Laois in their first clash so both teams will be eager to make amends and extend their championship.

Laois v Antrim

O'Moore Park sees the first ever meeting of this pair in championship football. A disappointed and possibly tired Laois face Antrim who did offer all that much against Fermanagh.
